Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in April of 2012, after I was medically discharged from the Army. We had known each other prior to me joining, back to 2003, when at the time Melissa was working at the bowling alley. After I had gotten out, I had decided to pick up bowling again, when she heard I had gotten out, she showed up at the bowling alley. Immediately we bonded over both of us coming from bad past marriages, and our first date was the very next day at North Salmon Creek Beach in Bodega Bay, CA.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

We have had lots of favorite memories together, but our most memorable memory would have to be our wedding week in July of 2017 in Las Vegas. That week, we weren't there to gamble or drink, we went to have fun! We walked through Red Rock Canyon, walked across the Hover Dam, strolled the Freemont Street Experience and walked the Las Vegas Strip. We got married at the Little White Wedding Chapel, the same one my grandparents were married at in 1956.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we won, we would put the money towards our 10 year vow renewal that we want to do back in Las Vegas at the Little White Wedding Chapel next year. We would use it to fly family down for the week, put them up in hotels, and for fun excursions we will plan for around the area.
