We met as kids, spent 8 years falling in love, and now we’re married.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
We met in a middle school art class and spent years crossing paths as we grew up. After a brief high school relationship and some time apart, we reconnected during our freshman year of college and realized the timing was finally right. Together, we’ve navigated long distance, college transfers, and plenty of life’s worth unexpected & expected events. Looking back, our story isn’t about two people who got it right the first time, it’s about two people who kept finding their way back to each other
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our favorite memory is the trip where we got engaged. My husband surprised me with tickets to Arizona for Christmas, and a few months later we spent a week exploring together. We visited four cities, saw Antelope Canyon and Lake Powell, hiked the Birthing Cave, and got engaged at Horseshoe Bend. As special as the proposal was, our favorite part was grabbing drive-thru afterward and sitting together talking about everything ahead of us.
What would you do with $20,000?If we won $20,000, it would go toward finishing our home renovation. Three years ago, we bought a 1958 fixer-upper, and my husband completely gutted it. He has done every bit of the work himself. From taking down walls, rebuilding rooms, replacing electrical and plumbing, and transforming the house from the inside out. Winning would help us finish a project we’ve spent years trying to build together and finally enjoy the home we’ve worked so hard to create.
