Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began in college when I was a sophomore and he was a freshman. The first time I saw him, I thought he was the cutest guy I'd ever seen. Once I found out his major, I may have secretly rearranged my class schedule just so we'd have a class together. Looking back, it was one of the best decisions I've ever made. We met, and within just two days of knowing each other, we started dating. It sounds crazy, but from the very beginning, we both had a feeling that we had found our person.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of my favorite memories is the night that Carter asked me to be his girlfriend. We love stargazing together and that night we had stayed up extra late because it was the blue moon which only happens once in 2 and a half years. We were sitting in a hammock looking at the moon and he turned to me and said “our love is once in a blue moon would you be my girlfriend” it sounds cheesy, but it felt like it was right out of a movie. After I said yes, we had our first kiss under the stars.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we were given $20,000 it would help us so much as we get married next June!! It would help not only for our wedding but for starting our future together. It would help take some of the pressure off wedding planning and help us begin our marriage with more peace instead of stress. We would use it to build our foundation together and set up our home. We are so excited for forever, and this would help us step into it with a sense of security and so much gratitude.
