Our story started with a Bumble match and a little bit of New York City magic. At the time, we were just two people from different worlds taking a chance on each other…a tattooed skateboarder with a creative spirit living in Bushwick, and me, a girl from Chelsea who had no idea that one swipe would change her life. What began as a simple conversation turned into late-night adventures, endless laughter, and a real Bushwick love story.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Nearly a year into our relationship, our lives changed when his spleen unexpectedly ruptured and he nearly died. What was one of the scariest moments we’ve ever faced became the moment we realized just how deeply we loved each other. I had planned to meet his parents in North Carolina a few months later, but his hospitalization sped everything up. In the middle of fear and uncertainty, I met the family that raised him, and our relationship grew stronger than either of us could have imagined.
What would you do with $20,000?We would put this money towards our future. Nothing extravagant, but to paying off law school loans and starting our life together.
