How did your love story begin?

We met at a local Italian restaurant, Rotolos, on trivia night. After giving Bob, and his teammates Fred and Jim, the second answer they made me part of the team. We became the 4 musketeers. We are both senior citizens and had decided we would be by ourselves the rest of our lives, and we were were okay with that. God said I have a different plan! We were married on May 24, 2025.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory we have shared is of our weddings and honeymoon. We were married on the Gulf Shores Beach at sunset. We went on a cruise on the ship Wonders of the Sea which sailed from Port Canaveral the morning after. We drove all night to get there. We sailed to St Martin, St Thomas, and the Bahamas before returning to Port Canaveral seven days later. The second ceremony was in the Ozarks in Missouri with family that couldn't attend the first wedding.

What would you do with $20,000?

After getting married in May of last year, we needed to combine our homes. Neither home was adequate for two adults and two cats. We wanted something big enough for us, yet had enough room for our children and grandchildren to come visit. We bought a new home at the beginning of 2026. As seniors we know to not spend this money frivolously. We would put the $20,000 towards the principle of the loan on our new home and have less interest to pay in the end.
