Nine years ago, Angel and I met on Tinder, both carrying the scars of toxic relationships and painful breakups. What started as two people just looking to have fun and enjoy life again quickly became something neither of us could ignore. From the beginning, it felt different—as if the world was quietly reshaping itself around us. We found friendship, laughter, healing, and eventually a love that felt like coming home.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory is our engagement. I always told Angel that when he proposed, I wanted it to be at home. For weeks, he kept asking if I was sure. After a long shift for both of us, I could tell he was unusually nervous. As we walked to our apartment, he asked one last time. The second we got inside, he dropped to both knees and proposed. Later he told me he was so nervous he couldn't think straight and just had to do it. It was perfect.
What would you do with $20,000?If we won $20,000, it would go toward one of two dreams that have felt just out of reach. We've been trying to conceive for nearly five years, so it could help us pursue IVF and grow our family. Or, it could go toward a down payment on a home—something we've never thought would truly be possible. Either way, it would help us build the future we've been working toward together for years.
