John and I met on tinder (the dating/hookup app). When we met, we had an instant connection. We are now engaged and planning our wedding!
We would like to thank you for supporting The Streichers in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
In 2024, both John and I had bad luck in the love department and we were ready to find our person. On a drive home, I prayed to god for him to send me my future husband. We matched on tinder a few days later. We talked and finally met up. At first sight we knew we had found our one. Later on, I found out that John had a similar story about praying to God. We are each others answered prayers.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? For me, I would say the best memory is the day we got engaged. John knew I never got a graduation party for my college degrees (one was because of COVID, and the other my nephew was born). He knew I always wanted to have a celebration. He planed the whole party and a nursing pinning ceremony preformed by my dad and nana (also nurses). Once the ceremony was over, I turned around and he was on one knee. The party for graduation turned to engagement. I couldn’t have been more happier to say yes.
What would you do with $20,000?With $20,000 we would use part of that for our wedding. The other part, we would use to pay off credit card debt. Then lastly we would use a portion for us to purchase our first home together. This money would be a very huge blessing to us if we received it.
