He worked at the hardware store by my house. I used to go in just to talk to him and laugh, I’d make up a reason like needing new keys made or cleaning supplies. After a drawer of 50 new house keys I decided to ask him out. He said yes then blew me off for two years, he thought I was related to his ex. He called me after 2 years, we had our first date and have only spent a couple days apart in the last 6 years. Now we have a new baby and a full happy family from our previous relationships.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our first date. We spent 6 hours on my front porch talking and doing a life interview, telling each other everything, our likes and dislikes. I showed him my action figure and comic book collection, he accidentally slipped and said “I love you” and tried to correct himself to “ I love you, your spawn collection”. After that we slept for a couple hours, he left for work and came back two hours with burritos and horchata. I fell in love
