Connect How did your love story begin?

We met in high school and started dating our senior year, already knowing we had something special. Life threw a few plot twists—Josh’s story could rival a male Cinderella—but with a little help (and a driver’s license!), we built a strong foundation. Together since 2002, we now share a chaotic, love-filled life with two amazing kids, three dogs, and a home where we keep growing—and laughing—every day. Through every season, we've chosen each other, turning challenges into cherished memories.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memories are the births of our children—though “favorite” might be code for the most intense adventures of our lives. Each one came with unexpected complications, a lot of fear, and probably more prayers than sleep. But somehow, in the chaos, we realized if we could get through those moments together, we could survive anything…including parenting. Lately, our favorite's are the trips we take together—away from responsibility, where we can simply be ourselves and enjoy each other.

What would you do with $20,000?

With $20,000, we’d keep building the dreams we’ve started together—growing Holly’s coffee shop as a community hub and helping Josh bring his 3D projects to life. But honestly…we’d probably sneak some aside for a much-needed family vacation too—because raising two kids and three dogs means we’ve definitely earned it. Our biggest priority is showing our children that dreams are worth pursuing—by chasing our own passions and encouraging them to confidently follow theirs, too.
