We met in 1986! I was a junior in high school and he was a student at Fairmont State College. It was love at first sight! We dated for 4 years and we were married on December 30, 1989! We welcomed our first son in August 1991 and our second son in August 1995. We are the proud grandparents of our 3 grandsons Rykien, Ryis, Kash Thomas, and one beautiful granddaughter, Houston Faith!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non Hodgkin’s lymphoma at age 31and I was treated with Chemo and Rituxan. 6 months later I was told the cancer had returned and I needed to get my affairs in order. We decided that we were going to seek treatment at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston! We moved our family there and through extensive testing, surgery and biopsies on Mother’s Day of 2004 we received a phone call from the doctor it was just and infection and I was cancer free! 25 years cancer free!
What would you do with $20,000?We would take our sons and their families on a trip to Hawaii!
