friends for over a decade before dating, went to each other’s first weddings. Co workers, coparents, teammates, hikers, film buds, lovers.
Will this cute couple share their love story in a Variety Magazine advertorial, take home $20,000, and go on a double date with Jeff and Emilie Goldblum?
We met on a ‘best friends’ community bike ride and I immediately saw him with Rose colored glasses. He was shirtless and wearing a sandwich board that said ‘our communities matter”. I think he had just come from a protest. Over the years we grew closer riding bikes. Pining for each other as entangled neighbors. He would come mow my lawn when my leg was broken, and I would peek through the blinds just to watch him. After years he got me a job at the same place as him, and from there it blossomed.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? All of our travels are hard to choose from, we love mountain cabin retreats, but probably going to a cost Rica together. It was our first trip out of the country together/independently. We hiked, swam in waterfalls, made love all over the villa and under waterfalls, saw our family dentist (lol), filmed a vlog, saw so much wildlife and just… really got to relax after a tumultuous year before that. It felt like coming back to meet each other after feeling so distant for a while. And the views!
What would you do with $20,000?Put a down payment on a cabin in the mountains that we can retreat to. Our adult son has a cognitive disability and lives at home indefinitely. Having a place we could escape to for alone time would mean so much and we could just let him have the house.
