We met on a blind date, moved in together three weeks later and have been happily married for almost 28 years with 3 adult children.
We would like to thank you for supporting The Scott's in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met when a hairdresser set us up on a blind date. We went out and saw a band then talked all night. We only spoke on the phone for a couple of weeks before going out again. We truly were able to get to know each other through meaningful conversation.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our favorite memory was when we traveled to Niagra Falls for a day trip. We had just gone through so much with Holly battling cancer and wanted to do something for us. We have spent our lives dedicated to our three boys. The falls were so overwhelmingly beautiful and we realized how precious our lives are together. We realized together we can get through anything. It was a moment of pure joy.
What would you do with $20,000?If we won $20,000, we would renew our vows after 28 years. With all of life's ups and downs, we know the true meaning of love. We would also go on the honeymoon we never had. When we got married, we didn't have time for a honeymoon and could never afford a romantic getaway especially raising our three boys.
