I was supposed to meet him in 2015 but he was deployed (Force Recon) and delivered a career ending injury. I thought he had just never returned or had met someone else. We met again in 2023...I had forgotten the entire situation but he remembered everything. Now he is disability retired spec-ops and I'm a SELPA Executive (disability services).
