I met the love of my life when we were about 15 years old in Mexico. At first, she didn’t like me at all. We came from different social classes, and many people thought a relationship between us would never work. But we became friends, and that friendship slowly turned into love. When I was 20 and she was 18, we got married. Nearly 45 years later, she is still my greatest blessing, and our love remains strong, steady, and enduring.
