Paul and I met on a street corner in November of 2000. We were in Ontario Canada with our different groups of friends at a dance club called Peppers while he was on shore leave from the Uss Cole bombing in Yemen that happened a month prior. My friend Rachel met one of Paul’s friends in the club and after closing I was waiting in front of the club on the street for her as she made out with Paul’s friend from the Navy. Paul walks up and says “is your friend making out with mine.”…
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Every day since … Paul is my best friend and everyday is my favorite. We’ve struggled. We got through college together, stupid jobs, kids, heartbreak, and the death of my parents. He is the reason I breathe. He is an amazing person and the best dad ever.
What would you do with $20,000?We have three autistic children and this would help us so much with their care and support. We never had enough money for a wedding or a honeymoon and we don’t need that. We just need each other and to make our kids lives better.
