We have both learned how to truly love, trust and appreciate each other. I wouldn’t be sober without AA and we wouldn’t be together without
We would like to thank you for supporting The Rahiman's in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
I walked into a meeting that I really didn’t want to be at and there was one seat open. We began talking and it turned out he didn’t want to be there either but there was also this almost immediate energy I felt from him. We left the meeting and made our way downstairs where we talked, shared stories and poetry and how glad we both showed up to a meeting we didn’t want to be at but it had brought us together and we couldn’t have been more grateful for that and the one open seat next to him ❤️
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Every morning we wake up together. We share an immense amount of gratitude that we get to spend another day together. We’ve had fun trips and the engagement that my mom traveled across the country to meet Kashif but waking up together takes the cake.
What would you do with $20,000?I would use a lot of it to pay my mom back for all that she has given me to keep me afloat. I work with the homeless and have done so for 14 years so I’m aware of the lack of resources. I’d want to use the remainder to give to different organizations that could really benefit from some financial assistance to better help the homeless.
