Connect How did your love story begin?

We had nearly given up on finding “the one.” Then, of all places, we met on Facebook Dating. After Corey pursued me twice, I finally said yes. Our first date, he arrived in his truck w/ red roses, helped me in, & loaded my wheelchair without hesitation. In that moment, I saw a gentleman; he says he saw his future. Despite the challenges of CRS & being an interabled couple, we knew instantly we were meant for each other. Since were inseparable, building a life filled w/ faith, love & purpose.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories is a family trip to the Grand Canyon, our first big adventure with his whole family. Having lost both of my parents young, family means everything to me, and Corey, blessed me w/ sharing his family & this trip and he always dreamed of sharing it with someone. Standing at the canyon, we felt overwhelming gratitude for God’s creation & the togetherness we now share. We laughed, smiled, and felt deeply at peace, realizing we’re ready for a lifetime of memories together.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we had $20,000, it wouldn’t be for a trip—it would be for our future home. As a child with a disability, many of my needs were never fully met. Simple things like reaching a sink, moving through doorways, or cooking have often required help or workarounds. That’s why we dream of building an ADA-accessible home where I can live independently as a wife. He just wants to give me the world. This would allow me to prepare meals, move freely, and truly build “Our Home” after we marry.
