I knew it was love when I got sick. Three months into our relationship I was hospitalized, unable to walk, body irreparably scarred. He traveled 120 miles without a car to hold my hand for just a night. That's when I knew it was forever.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I don't have a favorite memory. I have brain trauma and brain fog. My partner always tells me that the new memories we make will always be the best ones because he gets to keep making them with me. He remembers the fine details and lets me live in the moment.
What would you do with $20,000?My partner always tells me he never wants anything but to see me happy and healthy but what I truly want is to be able to give him a trip to his family home in the Philippines. He's never been and he's always felt like an outsider. I want him to live knowing he's been there and share that with him. I don't want him to put me first this time, this time I want to make his dream come true.
