Connect How did your love story begin?

We met when we were 18 years old and grew up side by side. What started as young love turned into 9 years of choosing each other through every season of life. We’ve gone from teenagers with big dreams to husband and wife building a future together. Through career changes, financial challenges, and plenty of unexpected twists, we’ve learned that love isn’t just about the good times. It’s about showing up for each other every single day.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our wedding day. Standing at the alter after 9 years together felt like the beginning of a whole new chapter. During the ceremony, our officiant said something we’ll never forget: “There are three people in this marriage- husband, wife, and God.” It gave us both chills. That moment perfectly captured our journey and reminded us that faith, love, and commitment got us to where we are today. We still talk about it all the time.

What would you do with $20,000?

Winning $20,000 wouldn’t just change our bank account. It would change our future. I’m working toward becoming a nurse, and my husband is pursuing a career as an electrician. The money would help us pay down the student debt we’ve taken on to build better lives for ourselves. More importantly, it would help us finally start the family we’ve been dreaming about for years. We’ve spent nearly a decade investing in our future, and this would give us the chance to begin the next chapter together!
