Connect How did your love story begin?

We met when we were both at our lowest — two people in the middle of a mess, somehow finding each other. We held space, we prayed, we encouraged, and we kept taking the next right step together. From owning nothing to owning our home. From insurmountable debt to paying it off. We overcame obstacles sent to destroy us, healed old trauma, and became the best versions of ourselves — together. From two broken pasts to one blended family built on love. That's where our love story began.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memories are the milestones that built our life together — the births of our children, moving into our first place, meeting his adult children and grandchildren for the first time, and finally moving into the home that gave us room to truly live. Each one brought us closer and made us stronger. The best part is we keep getting better. Every milestone reminds us how far we’ve come, and how much we still have ahead — together. ❤️

What would you do with $20,000?

We’d put it straight toward the life we’ve fought to build — knocking out the last of our debt and investing in our kids’ future. After coming from homelessness to owning our home, we know exactly what a fresh start is worth. This would be one more ceiling shattered, one more reminder to our family that with faith and love, anything is possible. ❤️
