We love each other and we hate each other and we still make it work.
We would like to thank you for supporting The Paits in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid both the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank and Oceana in their respective missions to support hunger relief and ocean conservation.
We met at our local community college when I was 18 and he was 19. We were friends during our time there. I was in a "relationship" with my bad boy and it was very off and on. We made it clear to each other that we were interested by constant flirting! We got together about a year after we first met. After our first date I told my mother that he was the one I would marry. We married on September 15, 1984 after a hurricane hit our town the Thursday before.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My favorite is the surprises during our relationship. Our 2nd year of marriage, I surprised him with his dream golf clubs. It was so fun - I wrote poems as clues so he could go on a treasure hunt to find them. Last year for our 41 anniversary, I surprised him with a trip to his mecca - the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. There are many others - especially when we had out two children and our 3 grandsons.
What would you do with $20,000?I think we would take a family trip with the kids and grandkids to Disney or someplace where we could enjoy times together and make memories for all of us.
