We met at work. Dan was new to our company, and I was our department's administrative assistant. Dan worked upstairs in our Advertising Dept., and I worked downstairs in our Merchandising Dept. I took a walk one day and found Dan in our hallway looking confused, so I offered to help. He was searching for trash bags. Neither of us knew where to look so we wound up on an unplanned office scavenger hunt trying to find some. We never did find the trash bags, but we did find each other instead. 😊

We have so many great memories already shared, but our Wedding Day is definitely our favorite. It was truly perfect. We got married in an intimate setting surrounded by our loved ones. We said our own written vows. My Dad officiated our ceremony. We laughed. We cried. We danced and we celebrated. We could not stop smiling. And although everyone else was there, at times it felt as if no one else was there but us- celebrating the love we have for one another. We are about to celebrate our 1yr. 🤍

We've recently had some scary, unexpected health issues that have led to substantial medical expenses, so we would use the $20k to help pay those. I was diagnosed with breast cancer back in April and just had surgery to remove it. Dan also had a stent put in for his heart back in May after discovering his right artery was 99% blocked. After our medical expenses are paid, we will take a trip somewhere. We both love to travel and are always looking forward to our next adventure together.
