Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began on April 14, 1990, when we first met. What started as a friendship quickly grew into something special. After a year and four months of courtship, we married on August 17, 1991. Along the way, a simple invitation to church became one of the most meaningful moments of our journey, helping establish a foundation of faith that continues to guide our marriage today. More than 35 years later, we're still grateful for that first hello.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

It's difficult to choose just one memory after more than 35 years together. While our wedding day will always be special, one of our most meaningful memories came during David's recovery from a life-threatening stroke in 2022. That season reminded us what marriage is truly about—faith, perseverance, and standing beside one another through life's hardest moments. Looking back, our favorite memory is realizing that after all these years, we're still each other's favorite place to come home to.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would use a portion of the $20,000 to create lasting memories together through travel and experiences we've always dreamed of sharing. We would also invest in projects that allow us to encourage and serve others through faith community and storytelling. After more than 35 years together our greatest joy comes from sharing our blessings and helping others find Hope encouragement and purpose.
