Connect How did your love story begin?

It began before we even knew it. Apparently we had both crossed paths back in 2018, but only one of us noticing another. Years later we met again, at a mutual friends Super Bowl Party in 24’. He was actually courting a close friend of mine, but they didn’t click. A few weeks go by, and a concert pops up that our whole friend group wanted to attend. But they all ended up bailing so Eric and I went solo. We spent one, long evening together and now the rest is history! We haven’t been apart since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Goodness, it is hard to stick to just one when we make so many! Our favorite memory together is last summer, we road tripped to Georgia! We hiked, kayaked and even swam under a waterfall after 12miles up hill hiking. This is our favorite memory because it showed us- no matter what, as long as we work together and communicate, we can do anything. Even if that means kayaking against a strong current with no life jacket. We are each others life jackets.

What would you do with $20,000?

Honestly, we would use it as a down payment for a house! We have been working endlessly at saving up for our perfect abode. We dream of nothing more than growing our own food and having our own animals with a little land. He’s a trucker for Frito and I recently switched from a Professional Bartending career to an Insurance Agent. Our goal is to have enough for a down payment within the next 2-5 years and this would put us well over our goal.
