Although we grew up in the same neighborhood in Boston we didn’t run with the same crowd. There was an age difference and different schools. One night my friends were going to a local bar/hangout. I honestly didn’t want to go out that night. But I went. You have to remember in the 80s the bars were just locals. No tourists back then. I saw him first. I asked my friend if she knew him. She said no, but I know his friend. Asked if he could introduce us. He did and that’s was our first connection.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My husband quit drinking 14 years ago. Our relationship has had its challenges. I believe our favorite memory is the first few weeks after he stopped and received the assistance he needed. We sat, we talked, we saw what connected us to each other again. We smile inside and out now we are happy and living the best versions of ourselves. Spreading that happiness to everyone who wants or needs it
What would you do with $20,000?My mind goes to a million different things. But a few things come first. Maybe something nice for the two of us to share, a getaway maybe. My husband has never been to Europe. Maybe a trip to London or Italy I know he would love that. We also have 2 children marrying in the next 2 years. It would be nice to share this gift with them too.
