We are imperfectly perfect together. There is no obstacle we can’t climb together. We are truly in this together.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
India was in grad school at Northwestern and I was traveling for a work. I had just finished a video covering my HBCU Homecoming and she was working on an article about the impact of COVID on Historically Black College homecoming attendance. She slid in my DMs to ask me to use my project in her news article (and of course there was no money involved) so I sent her my work with my watermark in the bottom corner. She did not use my work, but she sure kept talking to me. The rest is history!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My fondest memory of our relationship was actually a dream I had that came true. I remember having this vivid dream of walking down the beach with this beautiful curly haired singing woman before we met. It was a recurring dream that just wouldn’t stop coming to me. One day, India and I ended up on the Beach in San Diego, and we were walking down the beach, and I remember tears started falling from my eyes because the dream had come true. India was my person. God sent her to me in my dreams.
What would you do with $20,000?We are getting married this September, so that $20,000 would cover our wedding and ceremony expenses. It would be incredibly helpful on our finances as we embark on this new life together!
