Connect How did your love story begin?

Well, our love story began like so many others, full of dreams, hope and the belief that love alone could carry us through anything. But, addiction, brokenness, and the brink of divorce revealed how unprepared we were for the reality of marriage. What could have been the end, and nearly was, became a new beginning when Ron chose sobriety, we both chose growth, and Jesus steps into the center of our story. Today, our marriage isn't perfect, but it is restored, purposeful and full of hope.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I can't pin it to one event or one moment. It's more like a collage of years spent building a life together. Our first date, when my shoes were so uncomfortable Ron bought me a $20 pair of flip-flops. Family road trips and weekend getaways with our son. Watching Ron adopt my son and seeing him become our son. Buying our first home. Finding sobriety together. Discovering what faith truly means. Building a business, a ministry, and a life side by side. Looking back, it's never been one memory.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would invest every dollar into building a marriage retreat center. After nearly losing our own marriage, we know what it's like to need a safe place to heal. Our vision is a place where couples can reconnect, deepen their faith, learn practical tools, laugh together again, and remember why they chose each other. We believe stronger marriages create stronger families, and stronger families change communities for generations.
