Our story began as two friends from the same high school who lost touch after graduation. In late 2011, life brought us back together, and we've been nearly inseparable ever since. Before I knew it, I was falling head over heels. But, in true shy-guy fashion, Nelson was too nervous to make the first move. Thankfully, one of us finally did and the rest is history.

It's hard to choose just one favorite memory because we've shared so many incredible moments together. But if I had to pick, it would be our trip to Thailand in 2018. We rented scooters and explored the island of Phuket, with the sun on our skin, sampling street food, and discovering a hidden beach that looked like something straight out of a movie. It was pure freedom, adventure, and a memory we'll treasure forever.

Winning $20,000 would help us continue restoring our first home a 1921 Craftsman that we've fallen completely in love with. We're taking on the restoration ourselves, pouring our hearts into preserving its character while creating the home where we hope to spend the rest of our lives. Our ideas and inspiration are endless, but our budget isn't. This gift would allow us to bring our vision to life and build the forever home where we'll make memories for generations to come.
