It began on a dating app, first date was a Starbucks inside of a grocery store. He was my last date before swearing off me. The second date I was sick so he asked to take care of me and then never left, except on deployments.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There isn't just one memory, it is a collection of them. The tears after a PTSD outburst (me) and the comforting voice and hug telling me things are ok and I'm safe. The nightmares (him) and soothing him until he can go back to sleep. The moments where I just climb in his lap because he's my favorite person and the way he teases me to get a rise out of me and then giggles and runs off. The moments where we stare at our kids and realize someone let us be adults.
What would you do with $20,000?I'm from the coalfields of Southern WV and my Long Island transplant of a husband is glad we moved to WV. There are so many people hurting, the money wouldn't just help us work on expanding our food forest and orchard as well as buying supplies to distribute for the houseless and victims of the damage of flooding in my area. We are rich with each other 🫶
