it’s really about the love we’ve shared with each other and everyone around us.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
After years of near misses(including unknowingly meeting at Seshmila’s brother’s 10th birthday) Seshmila and Bradley finally reconnected. Days after their first date, Seshmila left for Sri Lanka. Determined not to let distance win(or one of her aunties find her a husband!),Bradley learned Seshmila’s native language. When she returned from her trip, he climbed three stories in the rain to help save her home. That’s when they both knew this wasn’t just love. It was about showing up for each other.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? Our favorite memory was bringing our wedding to Seshmila’s grandparents in Sri Lanka, who couldn’t be present for our wedding. During our honeymoon, we dressed in our wedding outfits, met them at the senior home, recreated our first dance, cut cake, and shared a meal with everyone there. It became more than a visit, it was a celebration of love, family, and the joy of including the people who shaped us.
What would you do with $20,000?We’d use every dollar to build our next chapter: a home filled with family, future children, and plenty of homemade Sri Lankan meals. We’d also pay forward the kindness we’ve received by supporting children in need - because love grows when it’s shared.
