I thought I was arriving to DJ a party at a downtown LA hotel. Destiny had other plans. My rowdy cousins suddenly fell silent. I looked up—and time stood still. When she smiled at me, I felt something I’d never felt before. Hi, I’m James. Hi, I’m Tudy. One ordinary hello became an extraordinary love story. Thirty-three years later, we’re still living proof that real-life fairytales exist and love never fails!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories is getting caught in a torrential rainstorm at Knott’s Berry Farm with our two little boys. Without saying a word, I grabbed Austin, Tudy scooped up baby James, and together we stayed close through the chaos. Safe in our SUV, soaked from head to toe and laughing uncontrollably, we realized that as long as we’re together, we can make it through any storm—and grow even closer along the way.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we won $20,000, we’d do what we’ve been doing for the last 33 years—invest in love. We’d create unforgettable memories with our family, celebrate life’s adventures together, and bless others along the way. We’ve learned that the greatest riches aren’t found in a bank account—they’re found in the people you love and the lives you touch.
