Connect How did your love story begin?

We were in the same friend group all of high school but always were dating different people. We would sit across at lunch from eachother every day, both secretly liking the other. Then, one night after high school ended past graduation, I invited him to play pool with me at college and that night after our game ended and we went our own ways, I called him saying “What would you do if i was outside your house and wanted to hangout now?” He was tired, but agreed, and the rest is history :)

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I simply cannot pick just one memory of ours that is my favorite. The thing with Cody is, every day he makes life so special. He works 50 hour weeks so I can be comfortable, and our family can have a safe and happy life. He’s always the first thing I think about when I wake up, and the first person I dream about when I fall asleep. He sacrifices so so much of himself for not only me and our baby on the way, but everyone in his life. Every minute i’m blessed to spend with him is my favorite.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would put some of the money away to try and start a college fund/bank account for our baby coming this October, and a part of it we’d put towards our house we’re trying to build for the fall/spring! Money is so tight nowadays for us with all our life changes, so the money would greatly help us try to get more ready for our baby and future family as well as use some to help our families too.
