Connect How did your love story begin?

Our love story began when Jordan transferred to my K-12 school freshman year. I didn’t notice him at first, but through shared classes, we discovered a spark and had an instant connection. Before summer, I had my best friend chase him down for his number, and we spent months texting, bonding, and creating superheroes together. By sophomore year, we were inseparable. When a classmate asked if we were dating, Jordan confidently said, “Yes.” That was news to me! We’ve been together ever since.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is our wedding day. Despite the chaos— his lost vows, family drama, a few overly drunk attendees, and my maid of honor accidentally staining my dress with gold glitter oil—it was perfect. My grandma and cousin even saved my dress with an ice cube and white nail polish. We love sharing the stories from the two nights we spent apart before reuniting at the altar. Walking down the aisle was magical, and seeing Jordan cry made me emotional, too. Love outshone every mishap.

What would you do with $20,000?

Winning $20,000 would be a life-changing blessing for us as a young couple. It would help us pay down debt, build a strong emergency fund, and start saving for our first home. As we continue to grow in our careers, education, and marriage, this financial boost would provide us with greater stability and peace of mind.
