Our love story began with a little help from fate and a four-hour drive to a work retreat. A man had messaged me weeks earlier on POF, but I didn’t respond because he wasn’t my “type.” While lost on my way to the retreat, I noticed he was a truck driver and reached out for directions. Without even knowing my exact location, he guided me there. We met a month later, had a three-day first date, and haven’t gone a day without talking in ten years.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?In 2021, during year five of our relationship, I left my corporate management job to hit the road full-time with David (my “Miller”). We rented our home, gave away most of our belongings, and moved into a single-bunk semi with our dog, Lola. For two amazing years, we delivered propane tanks across the Western states, creating memories everywhere we went—from a Christmas cabin in the Idaho mountains to Bourbon Street in Louisiana. It was the adventure of a lifetime.
What would you do with $20,000?Winning $20,000 would be life-changing for us. I'm a full-time student earning my bachelor's in Clinical Psychology and Criminal Justice to help troubled youth. My husband works hard to support us, and I clean houses to help while in school. Our 10-year-old Ford has nearly 200,000 miles, so this would help us buy a reliable vehicle and continue building our future together.
