Our dads have been friends since the 4th grade. We saw each other growing up but once we hit middle school we didn't see each other. After college we ended up moving to the same town, on the same road, about a mile away from each other. Our parents figured this out and my mom suggested I invite Ross out as he had just moved to town and didn't know many people in the area. We went to dinner (then secretly dated for about 6 months to keep our parents out of it) and the rest is history.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?There are really too many to count but the one that jumps out is hearing the heartbeat of our oldest son for the very first time. We struggled with infertility and ended needing the help of IVF. When we heard that amazing sound of the heart beat we both melted. We knew we were starting on our greatest adventure ever.
What would you do with $20,000?We would love to use the money to travel with our two sons. They're entering middle school and high school this fall and we want to show them the world and making amazing family memories exploring new places.
