I moved to Las Vegas on a whim to complete my student teaching over the summer in 2007. Unknown to me, my future hubby also moved to Las Vegas and was flight instructing at the North Las Vegas airport. After spending the first Thanksgiving alone, my friend teased me about signing up for e-harmony. I laughed and made fun of the idea and then the next day I signed up. Our first date was at the cheesecake factory, and the next day we had our second date at the grocery store!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Our favorite memory as a couple is sooo hard to choose. If I had to pick just one, then it would have to be our first dance at our wedding. We surprised everyone with an evolution of dance. Going from Elvis to Backstreet Boys. Everyone was crying and laughing and people still talk about it.
What would you do with $20,000?Mike (hubby) lost his pilot job when covid hit. Since then he has worked in my special education classroom as a paraprofessional and currently teaches the most challenging kiddos in a life skills classroom. I am also a teacher of 20 years. We would finally have some funds to put away for our son to go to college. He is 13 and has big dreams!
