Mutual friends invited us to a Martin Lawrence comedy show, we had no idea that either of us existed or were coming to the event. Candice arrived fashionably late and when I first saw her I knew that I had to introduce myself. We spent the rest of the night talking and getting to know each other. Next thing you know it's 3am and we'd been sitting in the park chatting for hours! Before we parted I had sent her our official first date details, inseparable since August 20th, 2024.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?I have many, but I would say right now would be the engagement. 4/2/2026, while at Little Caesar's Arena, home of the Pistons, in Detroit, MI. My place of work and also the first place that we met. Short version, proposed at the end of a Pistons game in front of the crowd, had her sister, mother and our friends in attendance. Caught her by surprise and she kept it together.
