How did your love story begin?

My friend & I met Scott & friends on New Year’s Eve! We went to hang out the next day & watch football for ONLY an hour. We stayed all day & evening! I didn’t think he’d call. He did & invited me out for the following weekend. He called me 2 days later to invite me to a movie screening the next night. I went! No games! Then our date-wine & cheese on the beach! Next the symphony! More movies! We talked about getting married after a month & were engaged after 3! I had to meet his mom first!

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

By far, our favorite memory is the birth of our first child! The excitement & thrill when we found out I was pregnant was like no other! We couldn’t wait until the day! Scott told me that if I went into labor during the night, not to wake him because it was going to be a long day. Of course, it happened at 4:30 am. I subtly (haha) tried to wake him & he finally woke up! Lauren was born that night! In an instant, we went from being a couple to a family! The moment sealed us together for life!

What would you do with $20,000?

We would love to take our kids on a grand adventure! Traveling is a huge part of our lives and we would love to share that with them. We think learning about other people and their lives and culture is what makes you more accepting of people that are different from you. We want to give that to our children. That would be a wonderful gift that will last a lifetime!
