Connect How did your love story begin?

I️ love our story, and there is a part he of course does not love! We matched on hinge and after talking for an hour or two I️ ghosted him! Months later I️ went to a baseball game with family and saw him walk by. This to me is where I️ believe in fate. The likeliness I️ looked up and saw him walking by, remembered who he was, and still had his contact information months later is so rare. Yet, I️ did and I️ reached out to him! 12 days later we were dating. Then we did long distance for 9 months.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Jon had never been to New England when we first met, as he is from the west coast. We took a roadtrip all over New England and I️ got to show him everything I️ love and adore about where I️ grew up. Going to Newport, RI and castle hill. A Red Sox vs Yankees Game in Boston, and calm days on the lake I️ grew up on. Everything I️ got to show him holds such a special place in my heart as I️ hold it all near and dear to me. It’s all areas that have shaped me into who I️ am today - the woman he loves.

What would you do with $20,000?

We have yet to take a honeymoon and honestly can’t afford one at this time. We got married in April, and probably wouldn’t be able to take a honeymoon for several years. I️ would love to be able to use some of this money to take the time to celebrate him and I️. Beyond this, we have a bunch of debt to pay off and then the ability to start planning for our future. To plan for a house, and kids. This money would truly change our lives and situation to set us up for the future we have dreamed of.
