How did your love story begin?

We met 24 years ago at a corner store in Hawthorne, California, and what started as a chance encounter grew into a lasting friendship and love story. Through every season of life, we've shown up for one another with mutual respect, loyalty, and unwavering support. We've laughed, grown, and faced life's challenges together, making every moment an adventure. After all these years, we're still best friends, and it's been a fun ride every step of the way.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

Our favorite memory is the birth of our son 23 years ago. After years of hoping and praying for a son, that moment felt like a dream come true. For a man who had never had children, holding his baby boy for the first time was unforgettable. The joy, tears, and love we shared in that hospital room brought us even closer together. Watching our son grow into the amazing young man he is today remains one of the greatest blessings of our love story.

What would you do with $20,000?

If we were fortunate enough to win the $20,000, we would invest it in our dream of opening a group home for underserved and at-risk young adults in our community. Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where they can access guidance, resources, life skills, and opportunities to build a brighter future. Winning would help us take a meaningful step toward turning that vision into reality and making a lasting impact on the lives of others.
