How did your love story begin?

On a warm summer night, I gave my friend and Randy a ride, never imagining I’d just met my future husband. Later, as our friends began dating, Randy and I spent more time together. He and another friend even made a playful bet over who would ask me out first. What started as a great friendship quickly grew into love, and just six months later, Randy asked me to marry him. ❤️

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

One of our favorite memories is our honeymoon road trip from Oregon to British Columbia. We encountered one mishap after another—closed restaurants on Canadian Thanksgiving, relentless rain in Victoria, stolen windshield wipers, and driving our Datsun 210 with our heads out the windows to see. On the way home, the car broke down in Washington, and my dad drove from Oregon with a tow truck to rescue us. What felt like a disaster then is now a cherished story of love, perseverance and laughter!

What would you do with $20,000?

With the $20,000 prize, we would finally take the trip to Greece we've dreamed about for over 20 years. Randy's grandparents immigrated from Greece, and his Greek heritage has always been a cherished part of our family's story. We'd love to walk the streets of the villages, learn more about his ancestors, and experience the culture firsthand. After 42 years together, this journey would celebrate our love, honor his family legacy, and fulfill a lifelong dream.
