I've known my husband for 43 yrs. He used to hate me. Over 20 yrs later we went from friends to him proposing to me at a street fair.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
It started w/ him being my mom's mechanic. I was 7 y/o he was older (19-20 y/o). He couldn't stand me. As I got older we remained in touch over the yrs. By the time I was in my mid 20's his hate for me turned into feelings. In my early 30's we went from being friends to him proposing to me, no in-between. 7 yrs later we got married and still going strong. Its like we've been married over 50 yrs. We are soulmates that came into each other's life in a very strange way.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? The way he proposed to me. It's a long story, but in short he was helping me at a craft fair. He left and came back. He was sitting behind me and texted me a picture. I thought it was a picture of the men's urinal. It took me a moment to stare at the picture and realize it was a picture of a ring box that contained my engagement ring. Everyone around us knew. Everyone tried to get us married there and have a redneck wedding.
What would you do with $20,000?Take the honeymoon we never had on our 10 yr anniversary this year.
