Our love story began in a small California town during the most unexpected time—the middle of a pandemic, when the whole world seemed to stand still. Somehow, while everything around us was shutting down, our story was just beginning. We found friendship, laughter, comfort, and eventually a love that felt like home. Neither of us could have known then just how much life would ask of us, but through every high and every heartbreak, we have continued choosing each other.

Our honeymoon was more than a vacation, it became a journey of love, grief, friendship, and healing. We traveled from California through Tennessee, Florida, Mobile, and Dauphin Island, where we spent time with a woman who became like a sister through the shared loss of our daughters. It was filled with tears, laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. We ended in Miami, where a tropical storm chased us home…adventurous, emotional, and perfectly us.

If we won, we would use it to create memories with the people we love most. Losing our beautiful Cassi taught us that time is priceless and tomorrow is never promised. We would celebrate how far we’ve come, make a dream we’ve shared come true, and create experiences our family will remember forever.
