Travis and I (Tim) met in 2017 the way most millennials our age do, online! It was around Halloween. Travis was dressed as a Ninja Turtle in his profile picture, and I was dressed as the Joker in mine. We hit it off chatting about our favorite superhero comics, Halloween traditions and scary moves. When we finally met for burgers and margaritas a couple weeks later it was love at first meet.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We have an annual tradition of going to a local artist festival in our neighborhood in Philly. Travis first took me 9 years ago and I loved it. We have so much fun browsing the different artisan and vendors, and each year we get a new small piece of art for our place. It's something that we always look forward to.
What would you do with $20,000?Buy a house! The housing market and economy hasn't been in our favor, and we are quickly outgrowing our little place. We've been saving for a down payment since the wedding but medical expenses and family emergencies have set us back. $20k would go a long way towards us finally finding our forever home.
