How did your love story begin?

We met in dating group on Facebook. We took the friend route while we mentally fixed ourselves from trauma, drama and self-destruction. We were friends for years until she moved me in her house. It was beneficial for both. We moved to Colorado together and built a new life. Married with the children with no al bundy. Years as friends made dreams become reality. Hoping for decades more love, learning from each other, smiling through hard times and shining bright in the good days.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

I won a Denver Nuggets promo that recognizes military veterans. I talked to the promoters so much that she ended up at one of the biggest games of the year. Typically the veteran was in the stands but she was chose for half court recognition. She is shy but served her country well and deserved something like this. My Christmas gift to her. Nuggets versus Cavs Christmas game. The stadium, players and staff cheered for a decorated U.S. veteran that happens to be mother. Lifetime memory made.

What would you do with $20,000?

We would put it into our actual wedding in 2 years. Our children came to us after we were already married at a Colorado courthouse screaming about being in a wedding. They in essence wanted us to have a wedding so they be a part of it. We agreed to do the wedding. We set a date that would allow our families to be there knowing they are in Texas, Georgia, Florida, Maryland, and Michigan. This would put a nice sized dent into the services. Would help give my wife the wedding of her dreams.
