Lowes hardware! I needed a fork lift and couldn’t run one, and he was standing at the paint desk, turned out he couldn’t run a fork lift either, but the friendship that came from that one meeting! I had actually met him a week earlier, I had spiral curled hair that came almost to my rear, the day I asked for help with the forklift I’d gotten a super short bob. He doesn’t remember the long hair, and I always tease him that my haircut landed me a man!
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?We’ve been through so much in 18 years, the loss of a daughter, I almost died from Lyme disease, (i got bit by a tick wild hog hunting on our honeymoon!) His open heart surgery, weddings, births, and so much more! One of my favorite memories was when we decided to take 2 weeks and go drive out west. We had adventures, got stuck in snow, laughed, found a ghost, and just made memories we carry with us to this day.
What would you do with $20,000?My illness really knocked us for a loop financially. Then his open heart surgery and him having to retire. I’d use half to pay some bills down, then he and I would take a dream vacation!
