How did your love story begin?

A real love story is rarely just love! It’s a choice we make, every day. It started 23 yrs ago. He (gave up on marriage) in USA, and she (didn’t want to marry) in India, ended up on an online matrimony site. He as a last try, & she just because her friend put her profile on. Neither ever intended to marry out of their culture, race or country. But a simple like and a hello was all, and the rest is history.

What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?

1) The first time we met in person at a small airport in India. He gets off the flight and climbs down the staircase attached to the flight (yes, that one). And my whole family was there to receive him. For both of us to see each other and knowing that we are real. How he lunges forward for a big hug & being the small town girl, I freeze! A hug in public?? 2) The home birth of our daughter, and twins (after losing 3 babies) Being together in the birthing room and holding those new born babies.

What would you do with $20,000?

1) We would love to travel to India along with our 3 kids and spend time with our parents who are nearing their 80's before they are gone and siblings. We haven't traveled to India as family yet. It would also great for my husband and children to learn more about mom and where she comes from, and learning about the half of themselves. 2) To go on a couple's trip out of country which we never went on.
