Mick left an abusive relationship, reckoned with the patterns that had kept her stuck in situations confirming her own low self worth, and after lots and lots of therapy, addressed her daddy issues and came out as a proud, raging lesbian committed to healthy and loving connections
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple?Two months in, Kyndel mentioned she never really celebrates her birthday. For Mick, who is chronically, pathologically celebratory about everything, it landed as an emergency. They ended up at Hug Point, a stretch of Pacific Northwest coast that is exactly as dramatic and beautiful as it sounds. Mick looked over at Kyndel and her knees genuinely gave out. They said I love you that day, but not the way you’d expect. Mick simply said “I know.” And Kyndel said “I know.” They’ve known ever since.
What would you do with $20,000?Mick and Kyndel, despite having “big girl jobs” are deeply in debt and struggling to make ends meet. They would take the money and share it with their chosen family so that everyone could pay their bills for a little while.
