From meeting at 14 yrs old to 24 years married, through all the ups, the downs and in between we are still best friends.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
We first met at 14 and 16. It wasn't until 2 yrs later we dated on and off. By 17 we went different paths and I had a child. However at 19 we got back together, my husband lovingly took on the role Dad and we married on 2001.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? My favorite memory some would say may be a sad one, however, for me it was the most meaningful. 2 years after I had a my son I was told the odd's of having any more children were stacked against me. Before I was scheduled for a full hysterectomy, we attempted once more to have a child together. Unfortunately it resulted in a miscarriage. Just before the surgery, I asked my husband if he wanted to try again to have a child of his own. He looked at me confused and said "he is my child".
What would you do with $20,000?Our son is an 82nd Airborne Veteran. After he successfully completed his time in the Service, after being injured while deployed, we have seen first hand how our Veteran's are mistreated and the lack of care they are given. Our interest would be in serving our local Veteran's and assisting financially where the system fails them.
