We met online and had an instant connection. We had our first in-person date and exactly 3 months later I proposed.
Help us share our love story in Variety, take home $20,000, and go on a triple date with Jeff & Emilie Goldblum and Charlie Day & Mary Elizabeth Ellis!
We are both teachers and we met through a dating app. We began talking to each other on the phone every night (we lived 2 hours from each other). Marianne came to Brian’s town for a teacher’s conference (we joke that our first date was on the district’s dime) on April 15th and we went to dinner and a movie. After that we traveled to see each other pretty much every weekend and Brian proposed while on a hike at Devil’s Tower on July 15th; exactly 3 months after our first date.
What is your favorite memory you've shared as a couple? So many! We travel a lot, so probably some of our trips (Hawaii for our honeymoon, Cancun, little road trips around the Midwest where we live…). Also, how we just instantly clicked and were all in with each other. It just felt right. Natural. We decided to move in together after about 1 month of talking a a few dates.
What would you do with $20,000?We love to travel, but being teachers we need to budget. We have talked about going to France and Italy!
